the saddest news

Patrons of the Pet Museum,

Your friendly Curator has lost her beloved Zozo today from complications of surgery. I had her for 14 years; I would have happily had her for 14 more.

Here is the last photo I took of her before I bundled her up to go to the vet:

I will keep posting, never fear, but for right now -- my heart is utterly broken. And it's very difficult, I find, to type while sobbing. So there.

Curator

We're so sorry. Fourteen years must seem awfully short from this end.

Sending our best comforting purrrss.

You had 14 great years together. Your life was better because she was in it.

I send my deepest sympathies to you on the loss of Zozo.It is always sad to see a kitty cross the Bridge.I too,am a 14 year old cat. There are a few of us seniors out there and it saddens my heart to see one go.
Just remember, you have 14 years of memories to sustain you.Celebrate Zozo's life, not the passing.
Purrs,and shared tears

We are so sorry. We lost our sweet Anastasia 6 and a half weeks ago and it really breaks your heart. Forever. Try to concentrate on the good memories, but we know how hard that is...
Our thoughts are with you!!!!

This is so sad to hear. We read you but rarely comment, we couldn't let your broken heart go unnoticed. It's so hard on those left behing...hope Zozo's memories help to heal that huge hole she's left behind in your heart and in your life.

Oh no... Zozo was beautiful, and she must have had a wonderful life with you. You'll always have those memories; may they help give you some comfort now...

We didn't know Zozo, but are still very sad to read about her going to the Bridge. She'll always be with you in your heart. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, too.

We're so sorry to hear about your loss. We just lost our 14 year old housemate last month and my Opposable Thumb Wench still gets teary at night when he used to snuggle into her side.

We didn't know Zozo, but we've added her to our Farewell Friends list. We hope you don't mind.
