vintage photo time

My friend Candace - who belongs to Daphne and Finnegan, the smart cats behind Smart Cat Furniture - found this photo of a relative and her little friend. All we know is what's written on the reverse:

"Miriam and Tige my kitten - 1916, Oakland Ore."
That IS a tiny kitten - let's do a cat-enhance. . .

    It was in many ways a much different world nearly 100 years ago, but not everything has changed... we hope Miriam and Tige had many happy years together.
