dog. and horse.

You want dog art, or perhaps you want horse art depending on the size of your pet, and you want to acquire it from a gallery that knows its dogfur and horseflesh.

Dog & Horse Fine Art & Portraiture Sculpture Garden of Charleston, South Carolina, is happy to oblige you. They carry select 19th century paintings as well as a variety of fine contemporary painter. I don't mind telling you I was quite leery to look, as sometimes pet art can let its quality get away from it in favor of sentiment. But I was most pleasantly surprised by the work on offer. Peek at Joy Kroegner Beckner, or Robert Christie, or the happy, wacky work of Ron Burns.

What's your favorite style of pet art?
