Two young doggy sisters were dumped out in the country in Washington State late last fall. Luckily, they were taken in at the Forget Me Not Animal Shelter in Republic, WA, around the time that one of my friends at work was looking for a new dog to love.
And that is how Gwen (above) came to live with her new family, where she likes to run across the yard and jump up into her "mom" 's arms. Her sister found a nice new family too, and lives in Portland now.
