chicken world (with duck walk-ons)

E. Boyd Smith's colorful 1910 kids' book Chicken World (copyright means I can't post the images, but the book itself is public domain) takes us through the henyard's year, with the bonus of a couple of ducklings popped in to hatch amongst chickeny step-siblings.  It's really quite something to see, so stylized as to be a sort of Art Deco, but expressive and colorful.  See if it comes up at this link at Hathi Trust.  I love a good chicken picture, so I'm all excited.
