Good old BuzzFeed. They've got 50 Most WTF Animal Pics of the Year. So awesome. In fact, I'll link to their 2012 Animals page for more photo treats.
Huffington Post has the ten Most Popular Puppy Names of 2012. #1 may not surprise you.
Apartment Therapy devotes itself to residences much more stylin' than I fear mine ever will be, some of which have some wonderful pets. Here's their post on Our Furry Friends Best of 2012. I need to redecorate...think the cats will help?
And in the best sort of celebrity pet news, Petside's Top 25 Pet People of 2012 slideshow includes many famous people putting their money and time where their mouth is - starting with Leonardo DiCaprio, who lent his weight to pushing for an Antarctic sanctuary for marine creatures.
