"Artistin Marcella" (Artist Marcella) is a look at creative reverie.  Though this piece could, stylistically speaking, easily have been made today, it's from 1910 by the German Expressionist master Ernst Ludwig Kirchner.  There's nothing like a cat friend to sit on the sofa with you and help you think through your program, as long as kitty doesn't decide to knock over the wine bottles. That doesn't help at all.
