Nashville artist Michelle Farro titled this simply Jack Bird's Cat, and whomever Jack is, I envy him.  This is the velvety essence of soft, relaxed cat, and so well does Farro know her kitty-structure that the loose brushing has perfect pose and proportion.  Have a look at her Kitties woodcut on her Etsy shop for more of this skill.  Have a look at her site, too - she explores all sorts of subject matter.  I find her woodcuts have a certain pleasing clean line to them that yet has all the character and presence of the medium (Museum readers know I love a good woodcut).
