Keeping it simple for a Monday morning:  this appealing pen and ink of a Chat blanc sur fond noir (that is, a white cat on a black background) from the French artist Alphonse Alexandre Leroy (1820-1902).  And with that I see several colors of cat looking up yet again at their food bowls (we keep them up and away from the dog), so I must go.
