Artist Vicki Sawyer's portraits bring us proud creatures bedecked in the treasures of nature.  She found this theme in her early years among a family appreciative of the woods, of birds, of small simple glories.  She has created art all her life, and now turns her gift to a world where animals wear flowers and twigs as jewels and crowns.  Here's her "Jackalope Wannabe" doing just that.  (Are you on Pinterest?
