wordless vintage wednesday

Actually I have to break my rule as this is worth some words. This find from the Library of Congress is dated September 1943, and has the following caption:
"A dog that wandered through the open door of a Greyhound bus at a rest stop between Cincinnati, Ohio and Chicago, Illinois. A passenger declined to share his seat with the dog and ejected him." 
 
How could you look at that face and kick him off the bus!?
