curator takes a field trip

I wish I could post photos, but I haven't had a chance to ask permission of the artists.
So today your friendly Curator got a wild hare to drive over an hour up to Bainbridge Island and see the new, beautiful little Bainbridge Island Museum of Art.  There was a Max Grover show full of jolly work (and cats were well represented).  Here is the current link to the show at the museum's site, and I hope it will still be findable for some time.
I also saw ceramic work by area artist Jenny Andersen. Mysterious, immaculately crafted.  I fell in love.  Here's more.
